Story
I am walking in memory of of my rather dapper and Gorgeous husband Roy Peter Keogh who was looked after extremely well here. The staff and Volunteers were all AMAZING encouraging me to bring our cats Vienna & Toffee to visit which they did on several occasions ,We have lots of lovely memories created here.I am fundraising so other families can also enjoy what life their loved one has left. The minute I stepped foot in the hospice.I became Petes wife again no longer his carer.Thank You to everyone that has donated to this extremely worthwhile charity. Also thank you in advance to our friends who have pledged to donate nearer the time .
By taking part in this event and fundraising you will help fund the vital care and compassion that St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides to people in the local community with life-limiting illnesses.
Alternatively, if you can’t join us on the day, you can take on your own walk, throughout the month of June, raising funds for the Hospice. You will still receive a walkers t-shirt and medal, but walking your way you can decide when, where and how far you walk.
