Story
This year's GBG challenge is marathon length, across the Peak District, the route through which is arranged specifically to cause the most suffering possible whilst still staying the safe side of the law!
I'm raising money for Trussell, the charity behind the UK's biggest network of food banks. They work to make sure people don't go hungry, which is a real and growing problem here — and one that shouldn't need solving in a country like ours, but does.
£5 brings emergency food and hope to someone facing hunger and £10 brings that food, hope and advice to a family. I'm aiming for £500 — so if we hit that target, that's 50 families or 100 individuals not going hungry because of your generosity.
Basically, your donation funds both my torture (sorry, my healthy and challenging walk) AND food for people in the UK who need it most.
Thank you all in advance. See you at the top of whichever bump finishes me off.
