Story

Walk with Sandra, 2025!

Sandra would have turned 55 this year. We all miss her so much but remember her positive and loving soul.

I wanted to set up this Just Giving page to enable people to continue to donate to the Sandra Spence Living Fund, and maybe just go for a wee walk with her.

Sandra loved walking and we all have memories of being in her company. So, I’m sure she would love it if you could keep this going and go for a walk in her memory this summer, no matter how long or short, maybe to somewhere you shared together. And if you are able, donate a little to her fund and leave a wee message for Sandra, sharing a fond memory or funny story, I’m sure there are many of those!

My own walk? Sandra was very fond of the Tour de France cycling race and I have special memories of us together following the cycling through France, so this summer I will be climbing Mont Ventoux to remember Sandra as the cyclists summit the mountain. I will let you know how that goes.

The Sandra Spence Living Fund

Every donation will go towards supporting charities Sandra cared about, such as Glasgow Women's Aid, Shelter Scotland, and other local charities which benefit Scottish communities, on an annual basis.

Sandra's fund is managed by Foundation Scotland, who distribute donations on her behalf for sustainable and charitable work. All administrative fees are paid by me, so your donations will be 100% for the charities.

Thank you for keeping Sandra in your thoughts and helping to continue her legacy in charitable giving.
