After my Grandson, Theodore, was born sleeping in August, I decided to arrange an event for other families with angel babies whilst raising funds and awareness, in honour of our beautiful boy.

Sands hold a variety of fund raising events including an annual Ribbon Display organised by individuals across the UK.

I have decided to organise a Ribbon Display for all who have been effected by baby and pregnancy loss in our local area.

Julie Salmon has kindly granted permission for the Ribbon Display to be on Chris Salmon's tree in Greasby. Details of his foundation via the following link https://www.chrissalmon.org.uk/

I will offer a range of items to be sponsored and hung on the tree for baby loss awareness week (9th - 15th October), items will be advertised on Facebook page with proceeds going to Sands. Details of items and how to order also be detailed there once items are in stock.

I also propose to hold a 'Wave of Light' to signify the end of Baby loss awareness week meeting at 18:45 around the tree so families and supporters can light a candle in memory of their baby, have a moment of quiet reflection and see the tree decorated.
