Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The Challenge
From July 4th–11th, I’m taking on the Hayling Cycle Ride—a 375-mile journey over 7 days. covering an average of 54 miles a day. To keep spirits high (and likely my dignity low), the last day will be completed in fancy dress!

The Cause
I’m raising funds for the Society St James (SSJ), (https://ssj.org.uk/) a local homelessness charity that exists to end homelessness person by person across Hampshire and their Café in the Park, a local community social enterprise and facility open to all.

SSJ is dedicated to ending homelessness across Hampshire by providing homes, and vital bespoke support to encourage independence
They provide a variety of different tailored support such as:
• Supported Housing: From hostels to long-term accommodation.
• Specialist housing including managed alcohol services and care homes.
• Recovery Services: Specialist support for alcohol and substance misuse.
• The Cafe in the Park Portsmouth: A community hub providing vital job training and qualifications for those rebuilding their lives.
Your Support
My goal is to raise £250. Every penny goes directly towards ending homelessness across Hampshire.
£12 could go towards providing essential items like toiletries, towels and a change of clothes for someone moving from rough sleeping into a hostel.
£25 could go towards providing a bus ticket and interview attire for someone to attend a job interview, giving them the opportunity to secure employment and rebuild their life.
£35 could provide a starter pack, of essentials for someone moving into their first flat.
£50 could help support activities, access to accredited courses and volunteering opportunities so that people can explore their strengths
