Sandy Lane Surgery with our Patient Participation Group have adopted PAPYRUS as our charity for 2024-2025.

We have chosen this charity as it is close to our hearts, supporting a member of our Sandy Lane Family who sadly lost her son Nathan.

The practice has already undertaken a charity walk which raised over £900.00, and plan on numerous events throughout the year to continue to support this charity.

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people take their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.
