Growing up in Nigeria, I saw firsthand a reality that many families in rural communities still face today. Having to travel long distances just to collect water.

For many people, turning on a tap and having access to clean water is something we rarely have to think about. But in some rural communities, families have no reliable source of safe water nearby. People may have to walk considerable distances to streams and other water sources, carrying heavy containers of water back home for drinking, cooking, washing and other daily needs.

What affected me most was seeing communities having to depend on water that may not even be safe to drink.

That experience stayed with me.

Today, after building my life, education and career in the United Kingdom, I want to use the opportunities I have been given to help make a meaningful difference.

That is why we created WaterReach Foundation.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help bring safe, clean and accessible water within reach of underserved village communities.

Through WaterReach Foundation, we aim to raise funds to construct boreholes and appropriate water-storage facilities that can provide communities with a more accessible and sustainable source of water.

Our fundraising will help support the costs associated with borehole construction, including drilling and casing, building materials, water storage tanks, installation, skilled labour and other necessary project expenses.

Why Clean Water Matters

A borehole is more than a source of water.

Access to clean water can mean that a mother does not have to spend hours travelling to collect water for her family.

It can mean that children have more time for school instead of making long journeys to fetch water.

It can help families reduce their dependence on potentially unsafe streams and other water sources.

And it can give an entire community something fundamental to everyday life: water that is closer to home and easier to access.

Our First Step

WaterReach Foundation is raising funds to support our clean-water projects in underserved village communities.

We want every project to create a lasting benefit rather than simply provide a temporary solution. Funds raised will be directed towards the materials, construction and other costs required to establish functioning community water facilities.

We also believe strongly in transparency and accountability. We intend to document the progress of our projects and provide updates so supporters can see how their contributions are helping turn donations into real infrastructure for communities.
