In memory of Stephen Fisher
Story
On 9th September 2024, we tragically lost our beloved Steve. To everyone who knew him he was a kind and gentle soul. He was committed to helping others and did a lot for charitable causes to help others.
Since Steve’s passing, we have been supported by our wonderful family and friends. However, we are aware that not everyone is lucky enough to have the fantastic support network that we have. Therefore, in honour of Steve’s memory and in tribute to his dedication to helping others, we are arranging a series of events to raise both awareness and funds to support the incredible work carried out by CALM. Below is an outline of the much needed support that CALM provides.
We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We’ve got loads of tools and resources to help people find the support they need, including a life-saving helpline for people who can’t see a way forward, have lost someone to suicide, or are worried about their friends or loved ones.
£12.20 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.
By creating this page and holding these events, we hope to honour Steve’s memory and work towards supporting those who feel they are unable to speak out.
