Parkinson's is something that I learned about after becoming good friends with Brian and his family. I never knew Brian before he had Parkinson's, but I know what a kind and loving man he was with the terrible disease. He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye and never seemed to grumble. Watching him deteriorate was heart breaking and watching what his family were going through made me decide to start this amazing fundraising journey. Since deciding to run the Berlin marathon and raise money, I have just learned that my good running and biking friend is now fighting this awful illness too. John you are one of the strongest people I know and you have a great family in your corner and I know you will inspire me to keep going when things are tough. Let's start trying to find that cure x
