Hike for Palestine · 25 January 2025

Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust is a registered non-government organisation (NGO) working on a non-profit basis whose aim is to alleviate poverty and provide medical and social development assistance to the poor and vulnerable around the world. We specialise in providing free health care to the poor.

Story

This January, I’ll be hiking through the Brecon Beacons Waterfall Trail to raise funds to support Palestinians who are enduring unimaginable suffering and urgently need our help.

The money we raise will go towards building a permanent hospital in Palestine through Al Mustafa Trust. This hospital will provide critical care to people who desperately need it, offering a lifeline where there currently isn’t one.

I’d be very grateful if you could support me by donating, or even just sharing this page. Together, we can make a difference.

“Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve. Him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement. And whoever helps ease difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and the Hereafter.” [Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.]

About the charity:

Al Mustafa's journey began in November 1983 on a small scale by a group of highly motivated intellectuals, social workers, lawyers, doctors, engineers and business executives, who all had the passion for philanthropy. Over 40 years since their formation, Al Mustafa Welfare Trust has provided medical care, education, food aid, poverty relief, famine relief, and community development in disaster areas, war-torn countries, and many rural and poverty-stricken areas of the world.

Al Mustafa has been working in Gaza and the West Bank for a number of years already on various projects and that track record and earned trust has led them to be at the forefront of the efforts in Palestine since October last year.
