our wonderful James sadly died on 2/10/24 from a GBM4 glioblastoma brain tumour. He fought this illness - diagnosed November 2023 with humour, sadness, frustration and absolute bravery. We will miss him so much.

He was diagnosed at the wonderful John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and had a successful resection of his tumour by Prof. P Plaha and his amazing medical team. He had equally amazing care and treatment under the oncology team at Northampton General Hospital. The John Radcliffe Hospital neuro surgery team gave him hope and confidence - unfortunately this was one mountain he couldn’t climb. Only 25% of patients diagnosed with a glioblastoma live for more than one year.
