My mum Gail Glave would have been 70 on the 1st may 2025. She sadly passed away 11days after she turned 60 of ovarian cancer. 10 years has been too long without our amazing mum in our lives. I was 6 months pregnant when she passed away and it’s hard to believe she’s missed all of these previous family moments. As many of you know there has been too much cancer in our family. I had breast cancer at age 32 and me and my mum were both having chemotherapy at the same time. There is too little research still about ovarian cancer and my only preventative option for myself was having my ovaries out last year. I believe passionately about this cause so to raise funds and celebrate our mum I will be running 70miles in one go, from close to my home town of hull to where my mums ashes are scattered at Bridlington. I will start at sunrise on the 3rd may and aim to be at the beach for sunrise and champagne by Sunday 4th May. Thanks for all your support. X
