Story
Hello Dear Friends,
After last year’s incredible Camino de Santiago challenge - one that pushed me so far beyond my comfort zone I could hardly see it - I said, “Never again!”
And yet, as so often happens with life’s challenges that stretch us, teach us, and shift us forward (often uncomfortably)… here I am, with my walking shoes ready once more.
This year I’m taking part in the 2026 Yes to Life Global Camino Challenge to help raise £100,000 for people living with cancer, and for the loved ones walking beside them.
Why?
This year marks 8 years since my own breast cancer diagnosis, and I honestly don’t know where I would be without the support, connection, education, and inspiration I received through Yes to Life that opened up possibilities.
For over 3 years, I’ve had the privilege of running the Wigwam Community at Yes to Life, and every week I see firsthand the difference this unique support makes. Through empowerment, shared experience, understanding, and whole-person care, people find hope, strength, and a renewed desire to say Yes to Life.

So I’ll be walking again - in solidarity with everyone on the cancer journey, and as a reminder that support, connection, and compassion can make even the toughest paths easier to travel.
If you feel able to support me, any donation - large or small (even the cost of a coffee) - will help Yes to Life continue providing this vital and deeply human support.
Thank you so much to everyone who has encouraged and supported me already. I know this is another ask in difficult times but cancer isn't going away either. Your support means more than you know. 💚
