Story
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.
The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
During lockdown 2020 and at the age seven, our son Moss decided to grow his hair to donate to the Little Princess Trust.
During the three years that followed Moss managed to grow his hair to a point where he was nearly able to sit on it; in this time, he had to endure putting his hair up for school and sports, brushing and detangling his hair and numerous questions about the length of his hair.
On the 17th August Moss had his hair cut! He had a total of around 50cms cut off, 37cms of which will be donated to the Little Princess Trust. As you can imagine his hair cut has made him look very different and his new hair style really suits him.
We are immensely proud of Moss's three year achievement, growing his hair for the Little Princess Trust, wanting to donate his hair to another child who has lost their hair, in the form of a wig.
All donations very gratefully received - thank you, thank you, thank you
