Story

The vision of the BSSH BAHT LION Project is to use our resources to deliver maximum possible benefit for patients in need of hand surgery and hand therapy in in Malawi through the development and co-ordination of sustainable educational and surgical / therapy training.

This is a project close to me heart - I've seen how much hand treatment can change peoples lives but in Malawi, there are so few resources or opportunities for good function after injury. To develop a sustainable specialism in hand and wrist management would change Malawian lives immediately and in the future.

🚴‍♂️ To raise money, I plan to cycle 🚴🏼‍♀️ further than I've ever done before, cycle upwards the equivalent of 5 times the height of Ben Nevis and keep going for 6 days!!! 😳
