Project Gambia have worked alongside pre-schools in Gambia for a number of years. Having travelled many times to the village of Gunjur, I’ve experienced first-hand the desperate need to support families so they are able to send their children to school.

This year, I would like to be able to help children gain a good education, and am therefore, asking for donations this year instead of birthday presents.

The cost of sending a child to school for one year is:

Uniform: £12.00

School dinner: 16p

Staff salary: £38.00

Total: £60.00
