I am running the 2026 London marathon with Alzheimer’s society. Our grandad sadly lived with Alzheimer’s during the last few years of his life and passed away from this cruel disease in 2017.

Alzheimer’s Society support those suffering with dementia, support families and carers and fund vital research to improve the future outlook of dementia. My sister was a carer for my grandad and received support from the Alzheimer’s society.

I am honoured to get a place in this iconic marathon, running in memory of our grandad with each training run and mile on the day - for the hope that individuals and families don’t have to suffer in the future.
