Ansteys walk, swim, cycle, skate, 780km for Rabbis for human rights to support Palestinians

Sarah Anstey is raising money for BFRHR

Ansteys will be walking 780km... four times the journey from Jenin, North West Bank, to Gaza

BFRHR supports the work of Rabbis for Human Rights in Israel, both financially and ideologically. Based on Jewish values and human rights, we promote human dignity, civil rights, social and economic justice, religious freedom and equality, in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Story

🌿 Plant an olive tree. Stand with a Palestinian family. Help them remain rooted to their land.

Palestinian olive trees can live for hundreds of years. They are livelihoods, inheritance, culture and a living connection between generations.

Through British Friends of Rabbis for Human Rights (BFRHR), I’m raising ring fenced money to plant olive trees in Palestinian communities in the West Bank, including replacing trees that have been destroyed or uprooted.

For £36, an olive tree can be bought and planted.

It is a small, peaceful and tangible act: where a tree has been destroyed, plant another. Where people are being pushed from their land, stand alongside them. 🌿

£36 = one olive tree. How many can we plant together?
