Emrys and Gruffydd are running the Junior Great North Run on the 9th September for " Arts in the Armchair" as their Grandparents attend every week and it has made a real difference to their lives. Their Grandad Robin was disagnosed with CBD and has severe memory problems.

Arts from the Armchair is a programme run by Theatr Clwyd in partnership with the local health board to support people living with early onset memory loss and their carers. The programme has three strands including two weekly groups and a monthly memory café. The programme runs with a mixture of support from our funders and donations from individuals and groups.

Every week the groups work with Hester on creative activities such as creating poetry or working with clay and the groups get to work with different areas of the organisation. Past activities have included painting coal that was used as part of the scenery in Mold Riots and attending rehearsal room run throughs of new productions such as our annual Pantomime.
