Rotherham Hospice Midnight Walk 2025

Rotherham Hospice Midnight Walk 2025 · 7 June 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
We never knew what the Hospice could do until my Dad was diagnosed with cancer during 2020. We were lucky at first, he faced the chemo and with hope we thought it was doing what it was meant to do and keep the cancer at bay. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case and in December 2022 we were told it wasn’t working any more. This is where the hospice came into its own for me. Obviously Dad had had some involvement prior to this. He wanted to remain at home with his family until the end or as long as possible. They made this happen! Organising a bed for him at home only when he was ready, 2 days before he passed away. The day he passed Hospice at Home were out to us every couple of hours as needed until he finally passed away in my mums arms, surrounded by his two daughters, brother and sister. The hospice then provided sunbeams care for my two nephews, whilst supporting my mum too! Now it’s our turn to give something back and why we are doing The Midnight Memory Walk on Saturday 7th June 2025!
With your help, the Midnight Memory Walk will be our biggest event ever. By walking 10K through Rotherham in the middle of the night, you'll be supporting people affected by end-of-life illnesses across Rotherham.
Any donation big or small makes a difference, so please give if you can!
This is for you Dad! Keep Smiling 😀❤️
