On Saturday 21st March Black Firs will be taking part in this years Swimathon This is a popular annual event organised and run by the Rotary Club of Congleton when individuals of a team swim lengths of an indoor pool in relay over a 55 minute period. All the funds raised by sponsorship is then split evenly between the selected Rotary charities for the event and the charity/organisation of the team's choice. This year the Rotary club is supporting both Friends for Life and the Beartown Rickshaw and then 50% of our sponsorship comes back to Black Firs PTA. This is one of our favourite yearly event and really does show a great team spirit.
