In October I took the plunge (literally) and started wild lake swimming. I still think it's absolutely bonkers especially during these winter months but it feels incredible when you get out and it's lovely to sit by the fire chatting with other women (it's mainly women that seem to partake in this icy ritual early on a weekend morning!!)

To add to the madness, I've been persuaded to go even further out of my comfort zone and join a Wild Swim Relay at Shepperton lake on 20/21 June 2026 as part of a wonderful team of 8 women - THE POLAR SISTERS 💃. We will be swimming for 24 hours!

We are swimming to raise money for Level Water who provide 1-to-1 swimming lessons for children with disabilities across the UK. Every £15 you donate funds one life-changing lesson.
