I’m dedicating this next year to raising money for The West End Women and Girls Centre!

A while ago after some personal experiences, I made a quiet promise to myself that I would do everything I could to help make this world a better place, even if it’s just a tiny amount.

The Centre gives hope to so many who need it right here in the heart of our community.

They are the only open access centre in Newcastle and provide outreach education and empowerment to women and girls in need.

Whether it’s a warm meal, support through domestic abuse, help with housing and accessing social services, or simply a shoulder to cry on, the team at the centre do anything and everything they can for those around them.

Due to continuous funding cuts, the centre desperately needs our support to help keep the doors open, the lights on, and to keep up the incredible work that goes on every day.

I’ll be doing all sorts of things over this next year to raise money, from gardening and maintenance jobs to trekking the Sumatran Jungle and everything that comes in between. I’ll add updates to this page of everything that I’m doing along the way.
