Story

I started my Digital Health career working for IMPAC, going into new customer sites to introduce software for radiotherapy, brachytherapy & chemotherapy. Spending my days in cancer departments was my daily life, it was a job with meaning, but it was a job.

When my dear Sarah Pryor was diagnosed with cancer many years later it wasn’t the job anymore. The barbaric ways in which we still use poisons to treat cancer felt cruel. This year, my participation in the H&PS Charity Challenge, Who Dares Wins is for MacMillan. An incredible charity that's committed to doing whatever it takes to support individuals living with cancer.

For me, it’s a chance to allow myself to grieve a little more for Sarah and to shout about the need for kinder care for people with cancer.
