Story
I am “running” the 2026 London Marathon in support of the Samaritans. This charity is one very close to my heart, and I will forever be thankful to the volunteers who selflessly give their time to people who need it the most.
I will be raising money on behalf of myself, and also in memory of my great Auntie Jean and Uncle John, who recognised the valued work of this charity and named them as a beneficiary in their will. I am hoping to add more in their memory.
Why Samaritans need your support:
We know that life can sometimes be incredibly tough. Thanks to the dedication of more than 20,000 volunteers, Samaritans can be there for anyone, whatever they are going through and whenever they are struggling to cope. We’re also at the heart of local communities, working with schools, workplaces, railways, prisons and hospitals to offer training and support, preventing suicide and helping people turn their lives around.
