The World Scout Jamboree is one of the most significant events in the global Scouting movement, bringing together thousands of young people from around the world to celebrate unity, adventure, and cultural exchange. Held approximately every four years, the Jamboree is a gathering unlike any other, offering Scouts the opportunity to experience a world of diversity while participating in activities that foster personal growth, leadership, and global citizenship. In 2027 it is being held in Gdansk, Poland.

36 Scouts and Explorers (aged 14-18) from Coventry and Solihull are raising funds to cover unit expenses for the once-in-a-lifetime event to join the UK Contingent in Poland.

We plan to abseil 40 metres off the top of No3 Brindleyplace, Birmingham on Saturday 18th July 2026 as part of our adventure on the Jamboree journey.
