The Fun Walk in aid of SNAP

The Fun Walk · 1 September 2024 to 30 September 2024 ·
Beattie is taking part in the Fun Walk on behalf of the local charity SNAP. If you can, please donate to this amazing charity so that they can continue to help other families who are in need of support.
For those that don't know, SNAP is a local charity based in Brentwood, Essex who currently support over 4,000 families across Essex who have a child or young person aged 0-25 who has any additional need or disability. No formal diagnosis or professional referral is necessary to access SNAP services.
On a personal note, even before Beas official diagnosis of ADHD (AD type) SNAP was an incredible source of advice and support. The journey continues in lots of different ways but Bea is an absolute superstar and we push forward everyday, with adapting and learning new and different strategies in how our norm works the best for us.
I have had the fantastic opportunity of attending a 6 week workshop for parents of Neurodivergent children and a Preparation for High School workshop. Bea has joined the after school ‘Marvellous Me’ girls club and Lily is also getting involved by volunteering at the centre too!!
SNAP’s aims are to inform, encourage and support parents so that they can grow in strength and knowledge and become better equipped to give the best possible help to their children.
Bea will be walking as much as she can throughout the rest of September - photos to come!!
Thank you, any donation means so much x
