Hi my name is Sarah and I’m a 62yr young living with secondary breast cancer and CLL I was diagnosed at 47 going on 48 and had the full Chemo, Radiotherapy and a lumpectomy and all the lymph nodes removed from my left arm. I was 50 when I got secondary breast cancer and the tumour is sitting on the nerves of my left arm leaving me totally paralysed in my arm I’m a mum to my beautiful daughter Leanne and wife to my amazing Hubby Bert without them and my family it would not have been possible,so getting on with life was the only thing to do plus I always say “I’m far to busy to stop”

I was diagnosed with CLL 1 1/2 yrs ago and it was around that time my friend told me about Rainbow Valley and how I should do the 7 steps course but before I did that I volunteered to take part in Brave 2 Bare 2024 and I haven’t looked back I love Rainbow Valley for giving me the chance to achieve what I never thought I could

I am embracing the courage to step onto Rainbow Valley's Catwalk. Their fashion show features myself along with other models with minimal to no experience. Last year's participants shared how incredible they felt after being involved. Many of us have faced cancer or are representing loved ones who have battled the disease. My motivation? To support Rainbow Valley, a charity dedicated to educating and empowering those impacted by cancer. They run free courses to people who have had a cancer diagnosis.
