**** Just to update, I ended up in hospital the night before the marathon with a tummy bug so I wasn't able to run sadly! I am planning to run a marathon in the autumn when fighting fit again. I really appreciate all the donations, it has kept me going and spurred me on to take another shot at it!

This will be my first ever marathon and I'm excited to be doing it alongside my firefighter sister Iz! Most of my training runs have been at 6am before the kids are awake... I think I've surprised everyone (even myself) with my sleep deprived dedication to the cause!

Thank you for donating to Bury Drop In. They are an amazing Christian charity supporting the homeless and vulnerably housed in and around Bury St Edmund's. They run two weekly drop in sessions offering food, friendship, donations and access to appropriate services and professionals. At work in the hospital we regularly signpost to Bury Drop In and we are grateful for the compassionate service they provide in our community.

This fundraising money will go directly to the drop in centre and the resources and provisions they need.
