Hi All

Sadly on the 1st July our lives all changed forever when mum took her final breaths. She sadly had been diagnosed with lung cancer in December, which had already spread to her brain.

After rounds of oral chemotherapy she sadly found out that the cancer had spread, and within months it had taken over her body.

During her time with the cancer unit and later the palliative care teams, the care and support mum and dad received was fantastic. With this in mind, we are collecting donations in memory of mum (instead of flowers) to be shared between the Cancer unit at Yeovil Hospital and the Palliative care team at Yeovil Hospital.

Mum impacted so many peoples lives and her swimming legacy will continue on. We are so grateful to everyone reaching out to offer support. Any donation you would like to make would be really appreciated and will enable the teams to continue to make a difference for their patients.
