*Double* Ironman for Daddy

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

*Update (31/05) - the support on this has been incredible - the kids have now gone for an enormous target which a specific goal to pay for a month of a Macmillan Clinical Nurse (£5014) and are going to double the distance to try and get there *

I am Daisy and I’m 11 years old and I am going to do the Ironman distance with my 2 brothers Harry (aged 13) and Lewis (aged 7 ) between us which is a 2.4 mile (3.9km) swim ,26.22 miles (42.2km) run and 112 miles (180.2km) cycle because we want to raise money for the Macmillan charity.

Since Daddy has been diagnosed with lymphoma, Macmillan Charity have been helping support him and us as a family. Instead of just giving the treatment they will talk to us and help us all understand what is happening.

We are hoping to do it as quickly as possible, probably over a few weeks and fit it around Daddy’s treatment, school and the weather!

We thought it would be nice that we did an Ironman because our dad did one before in 2011 when Harry was a baby. But he can’t do much at the moment so we’re going to do this one for him!

Our goal is to raise £500 and we hope that you will help us to do that.😁
