I’m walking Hadrian’s Wall with my friend Sue Wheeler. We’ve had great fun training and planning so 🤞it will be okay! We’re walking West to East so the wind should be behind us and we are sure to get wet, but that’s all part of the fun. We set off on the 21st May. 4 weeks today.

One of the PT’s at the gym noticed me slogging along on the treadmill earlier in the year and suggested we could raise a few £s on the way. Great idea! So to help a cause that is close to my heart I’m setting up this page for Forest Holme.

I didn’t know what a Hospice was until we went in for a bit of Pain Management, nearly 8 years ago now. I will always be grateful for the care and support we had at Forest Holme in those final days. Losing Clokey was the hardest thing I have ever done and the memory will be with me forever. I still can’t pass by without a tear in my eye. It amazes me that such a vital service needs £1m from fundraising every year………
