Myself and my daughter Izzy will be sleeping outside for one night to raise funds for an amazing charity, Rentstart.

Rentstart has been working with people in our community facing and experiencing homelessness for 24 years - they help to house around 100 people every year, providing tailored trauma-informed support for around 700 people annually.

The SleepOut is an annual event where they invite the community to join them for one cold night to experience, albeit in a safe environment, a night sleeping rough. Taking place at Esher Rugby Club, the SleepOut is in two halves; we celebrate community coming together with food, entertainment, interviews and inspiration. Then, at midnight, it's us in our boxes. Uncomfortable, sleepless, thoughtful.
