In August 2025, my friend Lorna encouraged some family and friends to join me in Team Billy to walk the Rob Roy Mighty Hike!

Her message is below.

Losing Billy last year to this horrible disease was the worst thing ever and if I can do anything to help raise money to help fight this I will.

Billy and I loved doing crazy walks and had previously planned to do this walk in 2020 but as Covid hit this was cancelled. As we'd raised money already we decided to honour this and we walked round Loch Leven twice to get the miles in - but in our usual style we got lost and ended up walking over 30 miles!!! We had always planned to do this walk so he will be delighted we are all walking this in his name.

I am so grateful for the 15 people mad enough to join me on this walk. We'll encourage each other and get each other over the line!
