I’ve decided to run a 10k for the first time in support of Spoons as our gorgeous grandson was born 6 weeks early last year and spent 16 nights in NICU at Wythenshawe Hospital. This was an unexpected, stressful experience for his mum and dad and charities like Spoons are there to support the fantastic hospital staff in helping families like ours navigate through the days & weeks following a premature birth.

Spoons’ team of skilled staff and volunteers help to reduce the stress, isolation and worry felt by families going through neonatal care in Greater Manchester.
