Sarah, Jon and Caroline (Corey’s Mummy, Daddy and Auntie) will be running the Liverpool Tunnel 10k to raise money for Liverpool Women’s Hospital Neonatal Unit.

Corey was admitted to the unit at a couple of hours old with sepsis. He needed to be intubated and spent the first 10 days of his life in the intensive care unit. During this period, we witnessed how tirelessly the staff worked to care for Corey and all of the other babies on the unit. We spent many hours in the family facilities and were able to access home comforts. Ten days felt like a lifetime to us but some families spend weeks, or even months, living in the unit. So we would love to give back to this wonderful facility. The money raised will be used to improve the neonatal environment for the benefit of babies, their families, and staff working in the unit.
