In memory of Dr Andrew Grist

We are raising money in memory of our colleague and teacher, Dr Andrew Grist. Dr Grist was passionate about the environment and his family's chosen charity is Bees Abroad, an organisation that enables hive twinning to support rural communities across Africa to benefit livelihoods, food security, conservation and the environment.
Dr Andrew Grist was an inspirational teacher of Chemistry who worked in the Science Department at King’s High School, Warwick from 2007 until his unexpected death in March 2024. He was much-loved and deeply admired by all who knew him and he was an exceptional person who ignited a tremendous love of science in so many of his students. The whole community misses him dearly and our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Bethan, and his daughter, Rhiannon.
As one current parent wrote, ‘Dr Grist was a remarkable teacher who touched the lives of many. His vibrant spirit, boundless creativity, and unwavering dedication to his students left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Dr Grist was more than an educator; he was a beacon of inspiration.’
