Story
I am a bit excited and more than a bit terrified to share that I will be running in the London Marathon on April 26, 2026, to support Action Medical Research. This incredible charity has been at the forefront of saving and changing children’s lives through groundbreaking medical research for over 65 years. Their work has led to significant advancements, such as beating polio in the UK, developing ultrasound technology, fighting meningitis, preventing stillbirths, and developing cancer treatments.
By sponsoring my run, you aren't just cheering me on; you’re acting as a hero for Action Medical, helping to fund critical research to help save and improve 1000's of lives, giving many families more time to create memories together.
The temporary discomfort with 'learning to run' at almost 40 serves as a reminder that a life without complication is a privilege - the impact of your donation will last forever.
Thank you so much for anything you can donate to this amazing and pioneering charity, and for supporting me.
For extra funsies, you'll find my Strava linked below. I thought it just posted run times and distances and didn't know it updated with photos I take on my runs. Mostly these awful selfies are the face of someone who's not entirely certain what they're doing but wanted to document their journey, I thought privately but we are where we are and you're on it with me now. Enjoy - I'm sure the 18 and 20 mile ones will be outstanding.
