Leap of Love is Sands' Skydive. Hundreds of brave #SandsSuperstars will take to the skies to save babies' lives in 2023. They'll help us fund vital research and support those affected by the death of a baby.

Story

So to continue supporting our charity of choice, this year, in memory of our son Theo, on the 25th June 2023, I will be taking to the skies and doing a Leap of Love skydive for SANDS! Fingers crossed for good weather and balls of steel!

Our Theo arrived shortly after his identical twin brother Hugo on 25th May 2016, but following a complicated pregnancy, he was sadly born sleeping.

Unfortunately this is all too common. Currently in the UK, 13 families a day suffer the heartbreak of losing their baby before, during or shortly after birth. Sands have been supporting families in need, and funding research for more than 40 years. Their services are invaluable.

Did you know ;

£20 enables Sands to provide a memory box to parents so they can start making memories with their baby

£140 provides one full day of bereavement care training for healthcare professionals

£580 a day keeps our helpline open and free for every caller

£840 can sponsor an entire day of training for 20 midwives!

Please help in sparing whatever you can to support this wonderful charity. Without them, our experience would have been very different.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read.

UPDATE

Absolutely buzzing that my niece Maddie Magee will be joining me on skydive day, jumping for the National Deaf Children’s Society, another cause so close to our hearts. Love you Mads ! X
