In 2022 my niece was born with a rare liver condition, biliary atresia, and required life saving surgery at just 8 weeks old. She is doing incredibly well thanks to her incredible Drs but without further research the outcome could be very different.

I have barely run since being pregnant with Isla 5 years ago and so 8 weeks ago I started the very hard process of getting fit again by completing a 5k training plan - but this is nothing compared to what Blaire went through when she was a tiny baby and the stress that her parents, James and Jasmin, dealt with worrying about what would happen to their newborn baby.
