When my mum and her group of friends decided they wanted to hold a coffee morning to raise money for a charity of my choice the decision on who that charity should be was easy…..after being diagnosed with breast cancer at the beginning of the year I have spent a lot of time at Musgrove! And the care I have received at The Beacon Centre during my many appointments and what seemed like endless Chemotherapy sessions was second to none. The staff made a truly horrendous time bearable, with laughter and endless cups of tea whilst my head was being frozen using the cold cap! I was not always the best patient, nurses never are!, but they were truly amazing…..I won’t go as far to say I’ll miss my chemotherapy sessions but I will always remember the staff and the part they played in this journey.

So if you’re able to attend the coffee morning on the 25th October at Nynehead Court in Wellington that would be wonderful and we can’t wait to see you but if you’re not able to make it but are able to give a donation on here that would be greatly appreciated too. 🩷🩷
