Story

The Celebrating Amy team are back this year with another incredible event, honouring the life of Amy Tuach who sadly died in 2022. Blue Light’s Got Talent will take place in the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness, on Saturday 21st September 2024, with organisers describing it as the biggest fun-filled, variety talent show the Highlands will ever have seen.

But there is a twist – all participants are members of the emergency services or care sector.

Blue Light’s Got Talent will raise funds for Highland Hospice and Cash for Kids.

You all know how much I love to try and do my bit in raising funds for local services that rely on voluntary funding. I usually push myself to run a 10k or 100 miles. Well this time I’m really having to push myself out of my comfort zone. I some how managed to get through to the live show where I and someone very close to me will be performing ( OMG)… If we win, we win £1000 to nominate to our chosen local charity which for us will be Rokzskool Academy. I’m a big believer in the power music has in our lives, we attach it to memories, events and our feelings. Rokzskool gives young people the opportunity to learn, engage, build confidence and promote good mental health and wellbeing through music and also art, employability skills, life skills amongst an abundance of others.

I haven’t performed (sober anyway) in front of a big audience in many many years due to stage fright, I’m working really hard to overcome this so we can put on the best show possible and raise as much cash for Highland Hospice and Cash For Kids as possible. We’d dearly love your support on our journey so please if you can donate a little myself and Aaron would be absolutely delighted.

Much love,

Sairs & Aaron xxx
