Sarah's fundraiser for Brake, the road safety charity

Charity Raffle · 15 December 2023
On May 7th 2005 I was due to marry my fiance Ste Hewart at Bury Town Hall, whilst i was getting ready for the ceremony I was unaware he'd been involved in a RTC. He was crossing a road, hadn't waited for the green man and unfortunately been hit by a car. He suffered multiple internal injuries and died almost instantly . I arrived at the wedding venue and was told the devastating news. It was an accident that could so easily have been prevented. That's why I want to raise money for Brake - a national charity working to prevent road death and injury and support those bereaved and injured in road crashes. There are 5 people die on our roads every day and hundreds more seriously injured. Visit www.brake.org.uk to find out more about our life-saving work.
I'm keeping this page open for the whole year to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity and will be doing many challenges to help this along! Please support me in Ste's memory 💙
