2024 Supernova Kelpies - Saturday · 16 March 2024 ·

The health and wellbeing of children and young people with health conditions lie at the heart of our work. Your help will enable us to continue to provide our much needed services. Most importantly we can continue to help improve the confidence, self-esteem, mental health and wellbeing of children.

Story

On Saturday the 16th of March we will be taking part in the Supernova Kelpies 5km to raise money for a charity that is close to my heart.

The wee group I have managed to convince to take part varies from half marathon runners to those who have not run the length of themselves before! Arlie will also be making a guest appearance pushed around by yours truly (if she will stay in the buggy).

Children's Health Scotland is dedicated to promoting and championing the needs of all children and young people and their families at times of illness. Children with health conditions have an explicit right to achieve their developmental potential and to sustain the highest possible standard of health. The challenge is for them to know and understand these rights so that they can ask for the services they are entitled to and make sure their voices are heard. Children's Health Scotland delivers health and wellbeing services directly to children and young people and campaigns on behalf of the needs and rights of all children and young people with health conditions.

Any donations would be amazing, and mean that a very important charity can continue to provide help to children, young people and their families who need it most!
