Max's fundraiser for Juvenile Arthritis Research

Sarah Holmes is raising money for Juvenile Arthritis Research

Max, Skye and Sarah are running or walking a mile a day in March for JAR

As a patient- and parent-led charity, our vision is a world where no child has to suffer from arthritis. Our aims include research to find a cure for JIA, raising awareness that children and young people get arthritis and providing support to children and their families affected by JIA.

Story

Our son Max was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis in January 2025 and it's been a steep learning curve to understand the diagnosis, all the treatments and what it means for him long term. Having the support of charities like JAR has been invalubale, from the in person meet ups with families who understand, to all the information they provide, to the research they're funding to improve the long term outlook for our kids.

So for JIA awareness month this March, Max decided he wanted to give something back. And Skye, who's been one of his biggest cheerleaders, wanted to join him in this too.

We'll be walking a mile a day in March to raise money and we'd appreciate anything you can offer sponsorship wise.
