Worcestershire NHS Stroke Pathway fundraiser for Stroke Association

Sarah Hudson is raising money for Stroke Association

240 mile static bike ride over 12hrs · 31 May 2025

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.

Colleagues from the Worcestershire NHS Stroke Pathway & Stroke Survivors will be cycling 240 miles over 12hrs to replicate the amount of strokes that occur everyday in the UK. By 2035 there will have been an increase of 60% in first time strokes. Please help us to support the Stroke Association continue to provide an invaluable life after stroke service and their continued research projects.
