I am fundraising for PCIT - Parkinson's Centre for Integrated Therapy.

'We are a pioneering treatment, research and education centre for people living with Parkinson’s disease

We understand that living with Parkinson’s disease can be difficult at times. That’s why we founded PCIT; a place to gain better control of your condition and to plan your journey.

Our goal is to deliver more than just treatment; we are here to add richness to your life with the support, advice, knowledge and encouragement needed to help you maintain your confidence and independence, and to break new frontiers.'

Philip was told he had Parkinson's last year, so he reached out to PCIT ('offering non-drug therapies') for guidance. Initially, he had an assessment where we both learned a lot about how to manage Parkinson's. He now taps into what he feels helps when he needs it, and also volunteers in the on-site charity shop on Giles Lane.

I switched my running fundraising to Parkinson's UK last year, but then realised I can direct my funds straight to PCIT, so please give what you can to support this amazing set-up that is working to 'empower patients'.
