I am supporting my brave friend Janette who wished to celebrate her milestone 60th birthday by challenging herself and raising funds for ESNEFT's hospital charity at the same time.

As well as turning 60 this year, working as a nurse for 40 years, with 30 of those spent at the Ipswich Hospital, Janette wanted to do something out of her comfort zone to acknowledge these achievements.

We both wished to give something back by raising funds towards general staff health and well being initiatives at the Ipswich Hospital. We are going to be supporting the ESNEFT community by caring for the people who provide the care to others when it is needed most.

The pandemic has and continues to be a challenge to those who work in healthcare. The tandem skydive is our way to show appreciation and say thank you in some small way by raising funds for Colchester and Ipswich Hospital's charity thereby supporting staff in the local community.
