Story
I am fundraising for Rockinghorse Children's Charity.
From Emma Henderson from Rockinghorse said: “We are so grateful for everything Sarah has done for Rockinghorse Children's Charity over the years. Her dedication and passion are truly inspiring, and we are so proud to have her running for us in 2026.
The money she has raised has helped so many babies, children and young people across Sussex in different ways—she really has made a difference.”
As she trains for yet another marathon, Sarah continues to inspire her community and remains a shining example of what it means to give back.
Sarah Jouault is once again lacing up her running shoes to support Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, as she prepares to take on the London Marathon in 2026.
A long-time champion of the charity, Sarah’s dedication spans over two decades—having first run the iconic race in 2000. Since then, she ran the London Marathon for Rockinghorse in 2009, 2013, and 2014, each time raising vital funds to support children spending time in hospital across Sussex.
Her passion even took her to the Olympic Stadium on 1st April 2012, where she ran in support of Rockinghorse and even won a local award for her fundraising.
To date, Sarah has raised an incredible £26,132 for Rockinghorse through a wide range of activities—from sponsorship and bake sales to hosting open garden events. Her creativity, energy, and generosity have made a lasting impact on countless families.
