On the 24th March 2024, I will be taking part in the Brentwood Half Marathon in support of the amazing Gavin White and Brain Tumour Research and in memory of Carla Brennan.

As you may well be aware, this is massively close to my heart after Gav, my besties husband has been undergoing intensive treatment since the Summer of last year, having discovered he has a brain tumour.

From Gav’s very own experience, I have learnt that the lack of funding and knowledge of Brain Tumours is still very minimal. Only 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

I am also running in tribute to Carla …. A beautiful Mum from my children’s school who cruelly passed away on 26/02/24 from this awful disease.
